Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates liability and property claims, ensuring compliance with state insurance laws
• Establishes contact with all parties involved in claims and evaluates and negotiates settlements
• Maintains knowledge of relevant laws and assists with property claims during high volume periods

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
• Completion of Introduction to Insurance and Introduction to Claims preferred
• Ability to obtain necessary state licenses within specified timeframes
