[Job-18960] System Architect, Michigan-USA

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team in a client-facing role, specifically within a support and maintenance team for a major automotive company. 


This position requires a technically proficient individual who can effectively manage product necessities and priorities while fostering strong client relationships. You will lead a team in balancing competing priorities in a dynamic environment. 


This position requires customer and stakeholder on-site interactions at the customer office in Auburn Hills, Michigan at least 3 days a week.



Responsibilities

- System Architecture: Support and foster best practices of robust, scalable, and secure system architectures.

- Product: Support product vision and backlog prioritization from a sustainability perspective.

- Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

- Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

- Process Improvement: Continuously improve development processes and methodologies.

- Team Management: Oversee the daily operations of the support team, ensuring effective resource allocation and workload management.



Requirements

- Strong proficiency in system architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.

- Proven experience in product management, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and release planning.

- Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.

- Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies. 

- Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines.

- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

- Experience with proactive monitoring tools usage and implementation.

- Experience in managing production support teams, including incident management and escalation processes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to lead and motivate teams, as well as influence stakeholders. Strong team management skills, including the ability to delegate tasks, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts.

- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.



Additional Skills:

- Experience with Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.

- Understanding of security principles and practices.

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.

- Ability to empathize with customer needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

- Adobe Experience Management knowledge is a plus.
