Certified Patient Account Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Patient Statement Process, including inbound calls and patient inquiries
• Collect unpaid balances and process financial transactions
• Maintain communication with Team Leaders and ensure timely completion of assigned reports

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required; 2 years of medical billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD codes
• CPAR certification preferred
• Experience with Epic or eClinicalWorks preferred
