Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder 3 to manage coding tasks for various medical services remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate coding and documentation
• Assign appropriate ICD-10 CM/PCS/CPT and HCPCS codes to medical records
• Mentor and train other coders while developing educational materials related to coding changes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's Degree is preferred
• Certification such as CPC, CSS, CCA, RHIT, RHIA, or CPMA is required
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience is required
• Proficiency in ICD-10 is required
• Understanding of computers and basic software programs is necessary
