About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, discovery, and delivery of impactful products that solve real customer problems and drive measurable business outcomes. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of customer insights, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to create innovative solutions that improve emergency response systems.

This position goes beyond execution—you’ll focus on identifying opportunities, validating hypotheses, and delivering products that balance customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility. You’ll be an integral part of Carbyne’s mission to transform how emergencies are handled.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

  • Define Strategy: Develop and own the product vision and roadmap pertaining to the area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with Carbyne’s overall mission and strategy, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Customer Discovery: Engage directly with customers, end users, and stakeholders to uncover unmet needs, prioritize challenges, and shape solutions.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user data to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with design, engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales teams to ensure alignment, inspire innovation, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Deliver Outcomes: Prioritize measurable customer and business outcomes (e.g., user adoption, retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth) over simply delivering features.
  • Iterate & Optimize: Use data and customer feedback to refine products and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for Value: Ensure every product decision is guided by driving customer impact, while ensuring business viability and technical feasibility.

Who You’ll Work With:

  • Design and Engineering Teams: Working as a triad, you’ll ensure ideas are both technically feasible and compelling for users.
  • Customer Success and Support: Partner to gather feedback and ensure a seamless handoff to customers, maximizing satisfaction and adoption.
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, leveraging customer insights to drive product positioning and messaging.
  • Leadership: Work with the VP of Product Management and other executives to align product strategy with company goals and key priorities.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic product management, ideally in a Cloud-based B2B SaaS environment. Experience in GovTech or emergency technologies is a plus.
  • Proven track record of delivering customer-centric, outcome-driven products
  • A strong technical foundation, able to collaborate closely with development teams to execute a shared vision.
  • Strong ability to empathize with users at all organizational levels, from frontline call-takers to supervisors and decision-makers.
  • Skilled in conducting discovery interviews, synthesizing feedback, and identifying new areas of unmet needs that can drive new business opportunities.
  • Expertise in defining customer-centric strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and measurable outcomes, balancing short-term execution with long-term vision, while connecting strategy to organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience managing cross-functional and external stakeholders and leading without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate team success across interrelated product roles with cross-dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and guide decisions.
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, comfortable in fast-paced environments and navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience working in a high-tech software development environment.
  • Expertise in VoIP and SIP voice platforms, cloud-native services, legacy 911 technologies, connectivity protocols, PSAP solutions, next-gen call-handling solutions, AI, and machine learning is an advantage.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k, matching up to 4% of your salary
  • Parental Leave Policy
  • Unlimited vacation days
  • Sick days
  • Competitive options plan
  • Health and Wellness Benefits
