Senior QA Engineer - Financial market

*We are looking for Poland based candidate. The job is remote but may require some trips to Warsaw at the beginning. Warsaw (+nearby) based candidate is preferred.

Project Overview:
This role supports a Stress Testing Platform and Market Risk Batch project, integral to risk platform enhancement and stress testing workstreams within the financial services domain. These platforms deliver market risk analysis, trade valuations, and stress loss computation for key stakeholders. The project involves maintaining and enhancing these critical systems in response to evolving regulatory requirements and internal priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA processes for financial market applications, ensuring the highest standards of functionality, security, and performance.
• Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for stress testing and market risk systems.
• Work collaboratively with development, business analysis, and product teams to align QA activities with the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct performance, stress, and regression testing on financial systems.
• Manage and maintain test environments in compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in QA and testing methodologies.
• Drive automation in testing using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and JMeter plug-ins.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in financial or capital markets domains.
• Proven experience in automated and manual testing of complex financial systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex, multi-system environments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk-based testing strategies.
