Biomedical Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Cloud Engineer to create innovative data architectures for genomic data processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the smooth execution of the production Trellis system
• Collaborate with the Security Operations team to address security incidents
• Design and integrate bioinformatics pipelines into the Trellis system

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Physics, or a related field
• Five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
• Experience with biomedical data formats and cloud computing, particularly Google Cloud
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with big data technologies
• Understanding of data security issues and FedRAMP cloud security
