Billing Collections Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Account Representative II for Billing, Collections, and Denials in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Bill, follow-up, and manage denials to collect on assigned accounts receivable
• Examine contracts and payer agreements to ensure proper reimbursement and resolve rejected claims
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies to gather necessary information for accurate billing and collections

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and patient-related issues
• Working knowledge of the Revenue Cycle and its interdepartmental links
• Familiarity with Cerner Patient Accounting and SSI Claims Scrubber
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
