Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in collecting outstanding patient receivables and resolving credit balances
• Maintain team standards for accountability and professionalism
• Assist in employee career development and establish best practices for receivable management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 4 years experience in prior authorizations, medical billing/collections, or contact management
• Experience supervising a team of authorization professionals desired
• Thorough understanding of insurance claim adjudication processes and applicable regulations
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, appeals, and coordination of benefits
