Athletes Unlimited is looking for a Manager, Database to collect, aggregate, and present metrics related to our fanbase as well as perform basic database maintenance tasks. This position is full-time, remote, and reports to the Sr. Director, Digital Fan Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Daily building, QA, execution, and deployment of email & SMS programs 
  • Leverage analytics tools to monitor, report on, and improve key KPIs related to database initiatives 
  • Report on list growth and overall health of the database program including monitoring deliverability
  • Assist in management of email calendar including asset creation, campaign approval, segment building & post deployment analysis
  • Assist with database acquisition plan including execution of sweepstakes, partnerships, and on-site campaigns
  • Collaborate across departments, including ticketing, marketing, and merchandise to fulfill strategy
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Content, and Brand teams to plan and evolve email & SMS strategy in line with market trends and best practices
  • Write and build the weekly newsletter in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Understand and present findings on the customer lifecycle
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Klaviyo or other database marketing tools
  • Experience with Asana
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledge and understanding of segmentation
  • Ability to work quickly to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to clearly summarize key learnings and recommendations from data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

This role is full-time, remote and is compensated at a range of $55,000-$65,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
