Assistant Controller - Private Credit

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller specializing in Private Credit and Direct Lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve monthly and quarterly accounting close and financial reporting processes for Credit Funds
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate accounting records and improve reporting efficiency
• Manage liquidity of Funds and assist in year-end audits and investor reporting

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Post-Graduate degree in Accounting required
• 10-15 years of experience in alternative investments or public accounting
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of credit instruments and fund accounting concepts
• Experience with distressed debt and knowledge of portfolio accounting systems preferred
