Job Summary

A company is looking for an A/R Management Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research claims and obtain additional insurance information through communication with patients, hospitals, and insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims daily to maintain workflow and minimize aging accounts
• Document account activity and perform quality checks on assigned claims

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare claims processing, billing, or accounts receivable
• Hands-on experience with insurance appeals and familiarity with ICD-10 and HCPCS
• Proficiency with various web platforms, including billing software and payer portals
• EMS billing experience strongly preferred
