Job Title: Service Sales Representative
The Service Sales Representative is to provide sales support to the Service Department of Building Systems & Services. To understand, meet, and exceed our customer expectations so that Building Systems & Services, Inc. is their preferred supplier for our product and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
• Pursue leads and acquire Preventative Maintenance agreements.
• Generate and present proposals for Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
• Promote and sell company products to current and prospective customers.
• Assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and business conditions.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals.
• Develop and maintain a network of business contacts.
• Identify and implement strategies for business growth.
• Evaluate HVAC equipment and estimate labor/material needs.
• Provide sales forecasts and track key accounts.
• Arrange and lead business meetings with potential clients.
• Close new business deals and integrate contract requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company interests.
• Keep management informed of sales progress and account status.
• Mentor and develop entry-level sales staff.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and controls teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide market feedback to management on trends and opportunities.
• Attend industry events, seminars, and user group meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and BAS (preferred).
• Experience working with senior executives and C-level customers.
• Strong sales track record, consistently exceeding quotas.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, technical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid Delaware driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Required HVAC certificates and licenses.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
