Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Associate to assist the Finance team with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with transaction entry, including receiving payments and credit card activity using QuickBooks Online
• Manage accounts receivable by ensuring accurate invoicing according to contract terms
• Support payroll preparation and month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliation

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a staff accountant in a public accounting or professional services environment
• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• Highly organized with a focus on accuracy in workpaper preparation and documentation
• Proficiency with macOS systems, GSuite, Slack, Rippling, and QuickBooks Online
• Comfort with emerging technology and willingness to learn and adapt
