About the Role & Your Impact
We are hiring a Sr. Electric Home Designer to be our in-house technical expert. This role will involve completing Manual J/S with HVAC design software, scoping electrical requirements and upgrades to NEC 220.83 standards, specifying water heater and battery upgrades, and scoping weatherization projects.The Electric Home Design Specialist will work closely with home comfort advisors, sales teams, and installation managers to ensure systems are designed according to customer specifications, building codes, and energy efficiency standards. This role will also support the development of design documents, plans, specifications, and quotes, ensuring that high-quality solutions are delivered by our Field Operations team. Ultimately, the Electric Home Design Specialist will be responsible for establishing quality control processes that ensure all designs and heat pump solutions going to customers meet Zero Homes’ rigorous standards.
