ABOUT THE JOB  

Zeno Chicago is looking for an experienced digital marketer to join our growing Chicago Digital team. The ideal candidate will have a broad mix of digital and communications experience, including social strategy and influencer/creator engagement. This person will be responsible for leading multiple pieces of client business as the day-to-day client relationship manager, primary digital strategist and internal team lead. 


As a Vice President on our team, you’ll be responsible for driving the development of smart, creative digital strategies for some of the agency’s top clients. This work will include launching a brand’s social media presence (including, voice, tone, persona) and then implementing that strategy through content creation, copywriting and paid amplification. The ideal candidate will excel at both client counsel and presentations. 


This role will also be responsible for driving on-trend influencer/creator marketing strategies for B2C clients, including both awareness and conversion driving programs across all tiers of creators. S/he should have a strong pulse on the space, with the ability to not only recommend sound campaigns but drive execution with excellence.  


Finally, this candidate will be a leader both internally and amongst clients. A VP, Digital will be expected to manage multiple direct supervisees and contribute to the growth of our team in both business and culture. As a client lead, this person should have experience as a client relationship manager and account manager/team lead. Internally, you’ll be expected to drive execution from start to finish. This candidate should have a hands-on approach to mentoring junior teammates and driving the team collectively towards success.

About You:
  • 8-10 years of experience in the digital marketing and/or communications industry 
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field 
  • Experience driving a brand’s B2C social strategy and execution, including content and channel strategy, creative production and copywriting 
  • Experience with influencer/creator programming, including developing strategies, 1:1 relationship management (i.e. not a network), vetting and algorithm nuances, trends amongst platforms, etc. in addition to whitelisting 
  • Experience with top consumer brands in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong problem-solving and natural leadership, with previous experience managing others 
  • Experience in numerous client presentations and with tough Q&A conversations 
  • Strong project and account management skills, including budgeting fee and OOP  

Pluses: 
  • Experience with paid social media, including data-driven targeting (lookalikes, retargeting, pixel implementation, etc.) amongst channels such as Facebook/Instagram, YouTube and Twitter 
  • Experience across Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio 


$99,000 - $180,000 a year
Pay range: $99,000 to $180,000 USD
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
