Tablet Command is seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing Event Coordinator to drive our brand engagement and lead generation through strategic event planning and digital marketing initiatives, directly impacting our company’s growth. The ideal candidate will not just manage logistical details, but also strategically enhance the company’s brand visibility and customer acquisition efforts at events in the emergency services sector. The ideal candidate should be a creative and detail-oriented team player who is able to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously. This position will report to the Marketing Manager.

Tablet Command is used by nearly 1,000 public safety agencies nationwide, including some of the country's largest metros and 911 centers, with more than 35,000 individual users.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic event coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can drive successful event execution with a data-driven approach. The ideal candidate possesses:
- Event Planning Expertise – Proven ability to manage multiple events, conferences, and sponsorships simultaneously.
- Project Management & Execution – Strong organization skills, ability to create and maintain timelines, manage logistics, and meet deadlines.
- Marketing & Lead Generation Awareness – Experience in event-driven demand generation and ability to collaborate with sales to track event ROI.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and event partners.
- Budget Management – Experience managing event budgets, optimizing costs, and negotiating contracts.
- Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using Google Workspace and Hubspot CRM tools for event management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Coordination: Organize and manage all aspects of marketing and participation at conference events, including team signups/registrations, accommodations, booth and material logistics, and post event wrap-ups.
- Manage Event Calendar: Track upcoming conference dates and participation deadlines, collaborate with marketing team to collect sponsorship and exhibitor package information, gather sales team input on event history, reputation. Track previous participation and sponsorship investments by event.
- Budget Management: Partnering with leadership, develop and track event budgets and timelines to determine appropriate allocations of funds.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with event organizers, contractors, and vendors (e.g., conference venues, audio-visual providers, shipping partners, etc.).
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to inform on promotional materials needed for events.
- Implement event-specific lead capture strategies for post-event analytics and reporting. Collaborate with sales team to ensure leads are transferred to CRM.
- Branding Development: Assist in the creation of innovative event branding and content, including presentations and event collateral.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to unite on event goals and responsibilities.
- Attendee Management: Oversee attendee registration and tracking for Tablet Command employees and ensure smooth check-in processes, including but not limited to hotels and flights. Support team scheduling at events, including booth staffing schedule, networking events and activities, speaking and sponsored engagements
- Event Execution: Proactively supervise remote event setup, coordination with onsite vendors, and troubleshoot issues before, during, and after events.
- Post-Event Follow Up: Conduct post-event analysis: gather team feedback, measure ROI through post-event surveys, and evaluate event success. Track all Tablet Command hardware and booths to ensure they return to their respective locations.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience: Two (2) to five (5) years experience in event coordination, marketing, or a similar role, preferably in B2B technology or public safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to work collaboratively with the marketing team and others
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, events, and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to create and analyze event ROI reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
