We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead, People Operations to guide our People Operations team and oversee daily People & Culture topics with a blend of leadership and hands-on involvement. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing People & Culture processes, driving compliance, and delivering excellent service to employees and managers.
Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of People Operations specialists, setting performance goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee payroll, employee data management, onboarding/offboarding, and other key operational tasks to ensure timely and accurate People & Culture service delivery.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, managing reporting and audit requirements, and addressing complex People & Culture issues as an escalation point.
Prepare and analyze People & Culture (P&C) reports to support leadership decision-making, including headcount reports, turnover metrics, and compensation analysis.
Collaborate closely with other P&C functions (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to align team activities with broader organizational goals.
Drive process improvements, refining P&C policies, systems, and workflows for enhanced efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in People Operations, with hands-on experience in P&C systems and payroll tools (e.g., Bob, Workday).
First experience in a leadership role, demonstrating effective team management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
In-depth understanding of People & Culture processes, policies, and labor laws, with a strong focus on compliance and operational excellence.
Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks with attention to detail and prioritization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach across departments and stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
You are fluent in English and German
