Product Experience (1-Year Paid Internship)

We’re looking for a Product Experience Intern: equal parts organized and creative. You are eager to support our product team while helping build out fun, gamified content that brings our fintech mobile app to life!

Now we’re building something new: a GeniusCash mobile app that makes personal finance feel more like a game with quests, trivia, interactive learning, and cashback rewards. That’s where you come in.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with our Product Team to:

• Support the development, planning, design, and launch of app features and quests
• Manage timelines, product boards, spreadsheets, and deliverables with precision
• Assist in cross-functional collaboration between content, tech, and design teams
• Participate in QA testing and feedback for new features and content 
• Help write, edit, and QA mobile-first quest content (tips, trivia, micro-courses)
• Contribute to the evolution of our brand voice and app content strategy
• Support stretch projects and assist the team as needed

💡 Who You Are

• When people around you are overwhelmed and disorganized, you bring order to the chaos and lead by example with your detailed eye, reliable presence, and trustworthy self.
• You’re equal parts organized, curious, and creative. You’re someone who wants to learn how products get shipped and how great content gets created.
• You have (or are finishing) a degree in Business, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field
• You are proficient in Google Docs and Sheets, and experience with Figma would be an asset
• You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a get-it-done mindset
• You have a knack for prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment
• You write clearly, edit ruthlessly, and love learning about personal finance
• You’re self-starting, dependable, trustworthy and thrive in a remote, fast-moving environment
• You have basic HTML and CSS knowledge and a willingness to learn more
• You’re a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
