About the opportunity: As a Communications Specialist on the growing Health Care Innovation (HCI) Operations team, you will design, craft and maintain documentation, such as divisional policies, procedures, guidelines, workflows and educational training materials, with the goal of creating consistent standards and messaging across HCI. You will do this by closely partnering and consulting with internal stakeholders to gain knowledge about current and future processes and procedures within each HCI business area.
About you: You are naturally curious and love the challenge of learning complex information and processes and translating that into easily consumable documentation. You are a skilled consultant and self-starter with the ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and make connection points across the business. You appreciate a balance of collaborative work with “heads-down” time to craft documentation. You are organized and effectively prioritize your time to drive work forward. You enjoy building relationships and partnering with various teams to develop comprehensive content and materials. Tech-savviness is a must!

What you will do as a Communications Specialist:
a. Create written materials including guidelines, policies, communications, process workflows and educational documents.
b. Maintain all documentation within source documentation solutions.
c. Collaborate with trainer to coordinate guideline changes with necessary staff training.
d. Maintain guidelines and ensure they are reviewed and updated on a consistent basis.
e. Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their processes and procedures to accurately reflect and capture the appropriate information.
f. Lead and facilitate work groups to understand business impacts.
g. Serve as a data steward for business area, through the development and enhancements of the source documentation solutions.
h. Collaborate with members of Legal and Compliance to ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards, accreditation standards and internal guidelines.
i. Ensure the regulatory standards, accreditation standards and internal guidelines are adhered to; remain current and consistent with standards pertinent to the business stakeholders.
j. Other duties as assigned.
