Work with the business and technology areas to understand business functions, processes, challenges, opportunities, and systems impacted. Validate alternative system solutions to meet overall business requirements. Review and analyze regulatory guidelines and required changes in partnership with stakeholders to identify system and process impacts. Analyze, model and document requirements for cross functional solutions and support of solutions. Collaborate with Technology partners on projects of varying scope, size, and complexity to ensure solutions and teams are aligned to meet business objectives. Manage high-level requirements and collaborate with other Business Systems Analyts on detailed requirements as needed. May work under the guidance of more experienced colleagues on larger initiatives.

a. Responsible for the execution of projects of varying scope, size, and complexity for specific business areas and provide support to BTS partners on enterprise-wide engagements.
b. Work with Wellmark stakeholders to define and develop technical solutions. Ensure the correct stakeholders are actively participating and collaborate with BTS partners and stakeholders to clarify understanding of high level business needs and requirements.
c. Elicit, analyze, model, and document detailed requirements by using a variety of elicitation techniques, understanding business processes, alignment, and technology solutions.
d. Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team by communicating and presenting requirements artifacts, models, and deliverables appropriate to stakeholder needs for projects of varying scope, size, and complexity.
e. Manage requirements and facilitate requirements change decisions by using traceability tools and techniques, prioritization techniques, approval processes, and requirements change management processes.
f. Adhere to software development lifecycle (SDLC), operational procedures, project management methodologies in performing business systems analysis.
g. Perform production support of assigned applications by researching, resourcing and resolving issues and coordinating the implementation of maintenance requests. May assist and/or interface in testing functions as appropriate.
h. Other duties as assigned.
