As an Acquisition Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supercharging our driver recruitment and expansion efforts. This role is central to our growth strategy and plays a key part in ensuring that we attract, convert, and retain top-quality drivers to match our operational needs across all markets. From optimizing acquisition funnels and managing recruitment teams to launching in new cities and aligning with business performance, this role is for someone who loves thinking big and getting into the details.

Responsibilities

Strategic Driver Acquisition & Market Expansion

  • Design scalable and data-driven acquisition strategies across active and new cities.
  • Align driver recruitment with demand forecasts to meet operational goals.
  • Identify high-priority markets based on driver gaps, regulatory factors, and demand trends.
  • Collaborate with Pricing & Destination Success to balance acquisition with market profitability.

Strategic Driver Acquisition & Market Expansion

  • Optimize acquisition channels (digital ads, referrals, platforms) to lower CPQL and CPA.
  • Improve conversion rates at every stage—from lead to activation.
  • Implement lead scoring models and automated workflows to drive efficiency.

Strategic Driver Acquisition & Market Expansion

  • Build structured screening processes to ensure only high-quality drivers are onboarded.
  • Leverage predictive analytics to identify driver profiles with high retention potential.
  • Monitor SLAs and KPIs such as Time-to-Activate, Interview Completion Rates, and Cost Per Hire.

Expansion & Market Research

  • Support market launches with insight-driven recruitment plans and readiness strategies.
  • Analyze driver density, costs, and local regulations to guide city launch decisions.
  • Work closely with regional teams to adapt strategies based on market-specific insights.

Collaboration across Teams

  • With Quality: Ensure smooth handover of recruits and alignment on evaluation criteria.
  • With Destination Success: Align recruitment with city needs (e.g., vehicle mix, peak hours).
  • With Live Ops: Adjust acquisition based on real-time supply-demand signals.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and lead generation specialists.
  • Track team performance across recruitment KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a high-performance, feedback-driven, and data-first team culture.

  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, market expansion, or acquisition—preferably in mobility, gig economy, logistics, or tech
  • Proven track record in optimizing acquisition funnels and reducing cost per hire
  • Solid analytical skills—proficient in tools like SQL, Excel, and Power BI
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, ATS (e.g., Workable), and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Experience leading and developing recruitment or acquisition teams
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, data-rich environments
  • Fluent in English—bonus points for other languages!
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
