The Opportunity

Do you have proven experience in being part of a team delivering multi-million pound campaigns, working as part of a cross-agency team?

We are looking for a project manager to join an established team here in London who are pushing the boundaries of social media for a world-class music brand. The client is at the cutting edge of black music culture, so we need a project manager who is on the pulse of what matters to this audience.

You will need to be knowledgeable about UK R&B, Afro, Rap and Caribbean music, and you will have proven experience in managing content production, as a large amount of the social content we produce is video content.

We have an in-house production department who take care of the big shoots for us, but smaller content pieces, e.g. TikTok assets, are being produced by our creative departments, and we need our PMs to help plan the work, manage budgets, and ensure we deliver great quality work, whilst meeting deadlines.

What You’ll Need To Deliver

  • Been responsible for producing timing plans, budgets, and project trackers, ensuring that you have deliver your work within the set time and agreed budgets.
  • Created and executed SoWs/delivery plans, ensuring 100% clarity and understanding among stakeholders.
  • Responsible for projects from a delivery perspective, from client brief to completion with minimal to no errors or delays.
  • Solid experience with creative production for social media campaigns, including how the social assets are created, and how to help creative teams do their work efficiently, delivering the work 'right the first time’.
  • Managed day-to-day client relationships, and used to being the main contact for the client on live projects, managing expectations and communications.
  • Confident managing a variety of work streams intended for social platforms, incl. TikTok content, Insta/X/Snap work and campaign work. Solid understanding of what paid vs organic means from a production perspective, and what constitutes clever innovation work in a social space.
  • Finally, experience of scoping, planning and executing influencer projects is key for this role.

What Else Are We Looking For?

  • Strong financial understanding, ensuring we are delivering within budget and not over-delivering in comparison to the agreed scope of work. This includes weekly reconciliations and financial reporting to the Project Director.
  • Video production experience, for small to medium-sized shoots, including pre-production, production and relevant documentation.
  • Proactive and good at foreseeing problems, and can articulate these to the relevant people when required.
  • Good with systems and resource booking/finance tools - our agency uses a selection of tools and as part of the PM team, you will be expected to learn how to use them well and stay on top of comms, bookings and planning via such tools daily.
