Compensation Range: $55,000-$65,000 annual/year

How do our Pricing Analysts Drive Impact?

Develop and implement pricing processes and strategies for assigned pricing segment and monitors results on a consistent basis

Identify and examine markets, geographic regions, competitor pricing, and overall business trends in relation to product pricing

Support the discussion, as led by the Director of Ace Rental, of analysis of location level revenue results for the prior week during weekly revenue management conference calls

Present summary of results of competition rate shops and emerging trends and discuss strategies / tactics to be put in place for the coming week and beyond to improve business performance

Develop product segment specific statistical analyses of revenue and related revenue drivers

Interact with and provide accurate pricing data to revenue management team and Location Managers

Identify and implement ways to further leverage system platforms including automated rate surveillance, reservations and counter systems to improve pricing and revenue performance

Assist with and provide input in the design and development of new pricing systems, processes and reports

Take responsibility for testing and training for new systems implementations or major system enhancements in assigned geographies

Ensures accurate and timely entry of pricing data into applicable systems and databases

Monitor and report on the day-to-day actions of competitors in the product segment marketplace, ensuring that pricing actions are appropriate, targeted, and effective both for special events and normal business operations

Build an understanding of the normal demand patterns and of the exceptional events and be able to measure effectiveness of implemented strategy to ensure booking pace is met

Establish positive and constructive working relationships, especially with the city and location managers in assigned geographies

Develop communications processes that are required for the execution of location specific pricing and revenue management actions

Take the lead in growing the product segment rental business for assigned rate product

• At least two years of experience in car rental or travel industry pricing and revenue management and/or car rental location operations management preferred
• Highly analytical and meticulous
• Robust statistical, quantitative and abstract reasoning skills
• Good command of mathematical and analytical calculations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with strong knowledge in Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Initiative-taker and collaborator with strong leadership skills
• Resiliency to high pressure situations and ability to multitask under tight time constraints
• Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
