Job Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, a keen interest in general ledger accounting, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support audit and tax compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (though not required with relevant experience).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and general ledger functions.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Starting Pay: $70,000 to $80,000 per year 

Schedule: Hybrid, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
