Business Development Representative - Bay Area

Voltage Park is on a mission to make machine learning infrastructure accessible to all, from large enterprises and research universities, to seed-stage startups and nonprofits. We believe that providing seamless access to compute with pricing and inventory transparency is the future of access to GPUs. We are the only cloud provider offering a platform that shows all GPUs available to be rented at any point in time with transparent, market-based pricing, in addition to long-term reserve contracts for our customers. 

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by connecting with new clients and nurturing existing relationships. Your ability to understand client needs and propose effective solutions will be key. You will be a part of an exciting startup, one of the largest in the sector, working on cutting-edge AI infrastructure needs.

This is a remote role, but you must be in located in the Bay Area in order to regularly attend events and conferences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and Target Sales Leads: Proactively seek out potential clients who align with our offerings in GPU Cloud for their ai/ML training and inferencing needs.

  • Identify and Prospect New Customers: This is a hunter role. You’ll be emailing, cold calling, and going to shows, expo, and meetups

  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, become the trusted Point-of-Contact

  • Sales Quota: Strive to meet and exceed quota 

  • Resource Allocation and Efficiency: Manage resources effectively to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with AI, GPUaaS/Cloud, Bare Metal, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Kubernetes, Nvidia, Docker, and/or hands-on Machine Learning.

  • Outbound Sales Experience in the Technology Industry: Prior success in Outbound Sales within the computing tech sector.

  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written abilities to articulate complex technical concepts.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align sales efforts with technical trends and market demands.

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
