About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is energized by designing software and experiences that help physicians deliver life-saving treatments more efficiently. By joining our team, you’ll design end-to-end user experiences in mobile and web for diverse groups of users and care providers – including neurologists, care coordinators, cardiologists, radiologists, and more.
As we continue to grow Viz and our suite of products, we are looking for a UX Designer who will:
- Create designs and prototypes, for complex interfaces, mobile and web
- Own the end-to-end design of key features and journeys, including planning, wireframing, translating design into engineering-ready deliverables, and working with cross-functional partners to get your work into the hands of our users.
- Healthcare is known for clunky, difficult-to-use tools; your design and the Viz application should redefine what is expected of clinician-facing products.
What success looks like:
- You can put lead a project end to end from concept research to detailed design and hand off
- After 90 days you understand the Viz application well enough to create an audit, critique features made by others in the team, and work independently but with frequent updates to your manager.
- After 120 days you are perceived as a mentor by your colleagues
- You are comfortable challenging assumptions of your colleagues and supreme such product managers and engineering.
- You are able to continually prioritize your tasks in a dynamic, creative, fast paced environment.
- You have the ability to be the voice of the user and evangelist of user experience
- You have strong technical fluency with the ability to work closely with engineering.
