Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their Institutional Legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full product life-cycle counseling for global derivatives, prime brokerage, custody, and financing products
• Negotiate tailored agreements with strategic partners and counterparties in finance and digital currency
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to digital currency and blockchain technology across various jurisdictions

Required Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or in a major US jurisdiction with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Interest in digital currency and blockchain technology
• Experience working with product teams in fintech or financial services
• Familiarity with UK/EU regulatory regimes applicable to financial instruments and crypto assets
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to review complex financial agreements
