Role Overview:
We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us build a strong top-of-funnel pipeline. You’ll own outreach to targeted accounts, drive conversations with key decision-makers, and work closely with sales and marketing teams to move high-quality opportunities through the pipeline.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in account-based sales development who thrives on strategic prospecting, uses data-driven insights, and wants to grow in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Generation: Consistently generate qualified opportunities from net new accounts on a monthly basis
- Account & Persona Targeting: Identify key accounts and decision-makers across relevant segments
- Account Research: Track public sources and intent signals to find high-fit accounts
- Segment Ownership: Become a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned segments, deeply understanding their needs and workflows
- Marketing Collaboration: Share market intelligence and feedback with the marketing team to align on signals and refine targeting
- Pipeline Quality: Focus on bringing in high ACV potential accounts to our pipeline that are aligned with our ICP
Qualifications:
- A passion for technology and software sales
- 2+ years of experience as an SDR, preferably in the SAAS industry.
- Able to work from our Office in Bangalore in US timings.
- Experience working with CRM systems, Salesforce
- Must have sold high-ACV B2B SaaS products into the US market
- Hands-on experience with sales engagement platforms like Outreach or SalesLoft
- Strong proficiency with prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar
- Prior experience in Account-Based Sales – non-negotiable
- Expertise in identifying and prospecting new accounts, and the ability to move on them with a hunter’s mentality.
- Resilient and capable of failing forward on an ongoing basis, documenting the pain points and strategising solutions.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external),
- A sense of urgency and the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
- Resourcefulness and results-driven operating style
- Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact
- You’re a self-starter capable of bringing ideas and strategies to the table. You value independence and will be successful with little supervision.
