We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Tester to lead requirements gathering, business requirement documentation, and testing efforts. The ideal candidate will excel in crafting clear user stories and effectively collaborating with the team. With a strong foundation in the testing lifecycle, including automated testing, the candidate will design, implement, and execute robust test suites across UI, API, and database layers. Key responsibilities include ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the web application within an Agile framework. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Lead and development teams to translate requirements into comprehensive test plans and scripts, ultimately delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
•Define and create business, requirements based on the change requests from clients for each release.
•Create mock-ups for various change requests during releases.
•Create user stories for the requirements and create tasks in the ticketing system.
•Create necessary documents and upload them for team review.
•Implementation of quality measures including test coverage, functional testing and end-to-end testing, and performance and load testing.
•Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
•Conduct API testing using tools to validate service responses and interactions.
•Manage and document test cases and test results ensuring full test coverage and clear reporting of test outcomes.
•Perform database testing, ensuring proper data validation and query performance.
•Collaborate with development and product teams using a ticketing system for defect tracking and documentation.
Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•3 to 6 years of experience as a Test Engineer with a strong understanding of the application testing lifecycle.
•Strong front-end and back-end testing skills.
•Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies such as SAFe and Scrum.
•Solid understanding of software quality assurance, including test planning, script development, and execution.
•Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve test discrepancies and technical anomalies.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
U.S. Residency Requirement:
•Must be able to pass background investigations and obtain Public Trust clearance.
Good to have skills/Certifications:
•Agile certification.
•Familiarity with Java, SpringBoot, Angular, Jquery, Git, and SVN is a plus.
•Familiarity with AWS hosting environments and Angular-based UI testing is a plus.
•Familiarity with Remine, JIRA, or similar defect and task-tracking tools.
•Familiarity with SharePoint or Confluence is a plus.
