Pay / Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay: $30.45/hr (entry-level) – $44.24/hr (17+ years of experience)

  • Shift Differentials:

    • +$4.50/hr for night shifts

    • +$1.50/hr for weekend shifts

  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Med-Surg RN to join our team. In this role, you will provide care to post-surgical and medically ill patients within a 63-bed unit, maintaining a 5-6:1 nurse-patient ratio. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care

  • Performing and documenting accurate patient assessments

  • Educating patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery

  • Administering medications and monitoring for effectiveness or adverse reactions

  • Collaborating with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members

  • Advocating for patient safety and well-being

  • Maintaining complete and accurate medical records

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience required

    • LTAC or Rehab nurses with acute care background may be considered

  • Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain FL license within 60 days)

  • Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred

  • Certifications:

    • BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire

    • NIH Stroke Scale required within 30 days of hire

    • ACLS required within 6 months of hire

  • Shifts Available: Days or Nights (rotating weekends)

    • URGENT need for Day Shift

  • Unit Details: 63-bed Med-Surg unit with nurse-patient ratio of 5-6:1
