Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Director of Infection Prevention to manage department staff and daily operations
• Leads surveillance efforts and coordinates outbreak investigations while ensuring compliance with infection control policies
• Designs and delivers educational programs for staff and stakeholders on infection prevention practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related healthcare field from an accredited university
• 7 years of experience in infection prevention
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or eligibility for licensure by reciprocity upon hire
• Certification in Infection Control from the Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC) upon hire
