Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Biological Science Research Technician 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Sampling bryophyte specimens in the herbarium, including species identification and tissue extraction
• Proofreading taxonomic treatments for Oregon Flora, ensuring accuracy and completeness of species descriptions
• Capturing taxonomic and specimen metadata for sampled bryophyte specimens

Required Qualifications

• Two years of college-level courses in a relevant field of biological science
• One year of experience related to the area of assignment at the Biological Research Technician 1 level
• Ability to foster an inclusive and accessible environment
