Tablet Command is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness and lead generation through strategic marketing campaign implementation which will directly impact the company’s growth. This role will collaborate with leadership and strategic consultants to implement marketing efforts to expand market share in the fire service and emergency response sectors. This individual will play a key role in supporting the implementation of marketing strategies and event planning activities, including managing digital marketing and content development efforts that align with the brand’s mission and objectives. The ideal candidate should be a creative and detail-oriented team player who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position will report directly to the CEO.

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels. This role involves managing a small team to plan, promote, and execute events that align with the company’s strategic goals. The Senior Marketing Manager ensures effective collaboration across all departments, drives measurable marketing performance, and maintains the company's brand integrity
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly adaptable, data-driven, and strategic Senior Marketing Manager with experience in small businesses (preferably in GovTech or Public Service Software). This person will be like a Swiss Army knife—comfortable managing multiple marketing programs while driving measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Execution
- Execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support business objectives, drive growth in the public safety software market, and maximize brand visibility.
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments (e.g., Sales, Product, strategic contract partners) to align marketing strategies with overall company goals ensuring a consistent message throughout.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor and customer activities, event feedback, and market conditions to make educated and strategic adjustments.
Event Planning and Execution
- Partner closely with the Marketing Event Coordinator to plan and execute marketing events such as conferences, trade shows, lunch and learns, and more.
- Oversee the budget and logistics for events, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with marketing objectives.
- Track the success of each event, gather feedback, and analyze key performance metrics to improve future events.
Campaign and Brand Management
- Collaborate with partners on the development, and lead the execution and analysis of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, email, etc.).
- In collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners (designers, copywriters, publicity and marketing strategy partners), coordinate content creation to produce high quality, high impact marketing materials.
- Support media buying efforts, collaborate with teams to develop creative and ensure timely execution while maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
- Ensure all campaigns align to the brand guidelines and reflect the company’s core values, messaging, and aesthetic.
- Work closely with the product team and leadership to effectively communicate new features and updates.
- Direct customer communication strategies, content development and campaign execution, including newsletters and product announcements.
Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and events, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM data to measure KPIs, including lead generation, customer engagement, and event ROI.
Budget Management
- Partner with leadership to develop and track marketing event budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Track expenditures and recommend adjustments to optimize spending.
Vendor and Partner Relations
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and event partners.
- Negotiate contracts, manage projects end to end, and ensure the timely execution of all vendor-related services.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Event Coordinator.
- Provide guidance and oversight on end-to-end processes related to event planning, logistics, and post-event analysis and inventory tracking.
- Ensure TC team members and partners are aligned on goals, branding, timelines, and deliverables.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B technology or public safety sectors, with at least two (2) years in event planning/management and team leadership.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo)
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, social media platforms)
- Experience with event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar tools)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a small team.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Campaign Management: Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices.
- Creativity: A strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and innovate marketing campaigns and event experiences.
- Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach to marketing strategy and decision-making and familiarity with reporting tools and KPIs.
