This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex, cross-functional projects—including enterprise systems rollouts (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce)—that streamline key finance processes and enable the company’s long-term transformation strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project and program management, excellent understanding of finance operations, and experience guiding teams through ambiguity and change. In addition to leading the execution of initiatives, this individual will influence organizational direction, serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, and act as a mentor to other project managers. • Partner with senior executives, finance, and technology stakeholders to define business cases, success metrics, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams—directly and indirectly—to deliver results while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing transparency into program status, risks, and strategic implications.
  • Oversee governance processes, ensuring initiatives are aligned to priorities, resourced appropriately, and managed to expectations.
  • Lead risk management, stakeholder engagement, and change enablement strategies across regions and business units.
  • Coach and mentor senior project managers and analysts, elevating delivery maturity and capabilities across the organization.
  • Influence process improvement and best practice adoption within the project management office (PMO) and broader enterprise.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment, quality, and timely execution of deliverables within contractual agreements.

Professional Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and executive presence, with a demonstrated ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement experience across Finance, IT, and global business units, with a focus on strategic alignment and value realization.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with prior experience managing direct reports and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of finance processes (e.g., AP, AR, GL, reporting, intercompany, disputes) and how they connect to enterprise technology.
  • Expertise in change management and organizational readiness for complex system and process transformations.
  • Strong command of multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and a strategic approach to applying them.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities in dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in managing large vendors and consulting partners, including contract oversight, performance tracking, and integration planning.
  • Visionary mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills, focused on driving impact and sustainability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in project or program management within large, multinational organizations.
  • Proven experience leading major enterprise system rollouts (SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong domain knowledge in finance operations and business transformation strategies.
  • Demonstrated success managing teams, project portfolios, and strategic programs across geographies.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or equivalent.
