UI/UX Specialist

As a UI/UX Specialist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, conducting user research and employing design thinking principles to create user-centered designs that elevate our software solutions.

Your role will encompass the entire design process, from conception and prototyping to testing and implementation. You will contribute to building aesthetically pleasing interfaces and ensuring usability by understanding user needs and behaviors.

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analysts.
  • Collaborate with business analysis and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product experience and visuals.
  • Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
  • Identify and resolve UX issues.
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Producing high-quality design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces.
  • Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design to enhance user experience.
  • Adhere to style standards on font, colour, and image style guidelines.
  • Collaborating effectively with the business analysis, engineering, and management teams to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for end users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and final solutions.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
