State Policy Advocacy Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a State Policy & Advocacy Manager (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Support and promote public policy and advocacy initiatives related to breast cancer and public health policy
• Build and maintain relationships with state legislators and stakeholders while tracking state legislation and budget climate
• Assist in developing advocacy materials and execute training events in collaboration with the Grassroots Team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or Government Affairs
• 3 - 5 years of directly related work experience
• Experience working with state legislatures and agencies
• Proven ability to research, draft, and analyze legislation
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
