Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes operational functions within Finance areas such as group billing and subrogation
• Analyzes general ledger account activity and reconciles complex general ledger accounts
• Assists in preparing components of corporate forecasts and financial statements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 1 year of experience for Staff Accountant II; 3 years for Sr. Staff Accountant
• Beginning to extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Access
• Experience with automated general ledger applications for Sr. Staff Accountant
