Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Architect to support the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service's Public Health Information System (PHIS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, maintain, enhance, and migrate relational databases in cloud and non-cloud environments
  • Analyze information needs, data relationships, and develop data models
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users and development teams
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in database architecture, design, and administration
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS and proficiency with cloud database services
  • Experience with database migration tools and strategies
