Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Legal Operations to lead legal operations and billing dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze law firm billing data to identify and resolve payment delays and discrepancies
• Act as the primary liaison between accounting, firm leadership, and insurance carriers to resolve payment disputes
• Lead negotiations with carriers to secure payments and oversee documentation related to disputes and resolutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
• Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred but not required
• Minimum of 8 years' leadership experience with insurance carrier payment and accounting practices
• In-depth knowledge of insurance defense billing protocols and vendor management systems
• Proficiency in legal billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
