Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Cost Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing data and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual costs
• Maintaining the Cost Accounting System and assisting in month-end close of the General Ledger
• Conducting inventory evaluations and preparing cost variance analysis reports

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting (cost accounting/public accounting/auditing preferred)
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Oracle experience is preferred
• Ability to accurately prepare financial reports
