Senior Accountant, Germany

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and HGB
• Support post-merger integration and harmonization of ERP systems, processes, and tools
• Generate accounts receivable invoices in accordance with revenue recognition under ASC606/IFRS 15

Required Qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or Finance-related professional education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB
• Experience in post-merger integration and ERP projects (Microsoft D365 and NetSuite) is a strong plus
• Business fluent in written and spoken English and German; other languages are advantageous
• Experience in internal controls and process optimization
