Senior Accountant - Affordable Housing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager - Affordable Housing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing financial monitoring, cash flow projections, and reserve tracking for assigned properties
• Ensure compliance with debt, equity, and Section 42 LIHTC requirements
• Prepare asset management and portfolio reports for leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of direct experience in property and asset management
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to read and interpret budgets, statements, and reports
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD Section 8, and Tenant Choice Voucher programs
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and forecasting
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
