Job Summary:  

The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the recruitment and selection process for the organization, identifying, and attracting top talent, and building a pipeline of candidates for current and future needs. This role will work closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies, and ensure that the recruitment process is efficient, effective, and compliant with legal requirements.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Travel:  While primarily a remote position, employee is required to attend up to two times monthly in office cadence in NYC. From time to time, additional in-person team meetings may be required as well.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Manage and lead a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed
  • Identify and implement best practices for recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, universities, and other relevant organizations to support talent acquisition efforts
  • Partner with HR and departmental leaders to define hiring needs, job descriptions, and candidate requirements
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract and retain a diverse workforce
  • Analyze and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and applicant and candidate experience feedback
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools to ensure data accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
  • Provide training and support to hiring managers on recruitment and selection best practices
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with preferred experience of managing a team
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an ATS, recruitment tools, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

 

Salary Pay Range
$98,000$103,000 USD
