Pricing Analyst
Location: Miami FL 33182
Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $25/hr


Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends and competitive pricing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Rate Negotiation: Negotiate rates with carriers to secure the best possible terms for our services.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine pricing structures that are both competitive and profitable.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all pricing strategies and activities comply with FMC regulations.
  • Operational Collaboration: Work alongside the operations team to identify needs for network improvements or system designs that enhance profitability.
  • Sales Support: Provide the sales team with business intelligence reports, focusing on niche markets and emerging trends.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track turnover and respond swiftly to market changes, ensuring deadlines are met and previous strategies are adjusted as necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • HS diploma with desired experience or bachelor’s degree in a related major.
  • 2+ years of experience in international sea freight (FCL and LCL) pricing
  •  Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data.
  • Proven experience in rate negotiation and pricing strategy development.
  • Familiarity with FMC regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
