RN CDI Second Level Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CDI Vizient Second Level Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review cases from a defined patient population to identify documentation improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with the coding department to ensure documentation is clinically appropriate and aligns with Vizient Q&A mortality rankings
• Focus on the severity of illness in accordance with current CMS standards

Required Qualifications:

• Clinical background with RN required
• CCDS or CDIP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Experience with second level CDI Vizient Q&A risk adjustment reviews is required
• Proficient in using MS Office, email, VPNs, and video conferencing tools
