Key Responsibilities

  • Source, interview, and place qualified medical professionals (nurses, care assistants, locum doctors, allied health) into temporary and contract roles.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle, ensuring compliance with UK NHS and private sector standards.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline through active engagement, referrals, and outreach.
  • Liaise directly with UK clients to understand staffing needs and coordinate placements efficiently.
  • Manage shift schedules, booking confirmations, and assignment logistics.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with recruitment and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide timely and responsive communication to both clients and candidates.
  • Maintain records on recruitment systems and ensure data is up to date and audit-ready.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting for the UK medical sector, ideally for a healthcare staffing agency.
  • Proven track record in placing temporary staff and contractors in clinical environments.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours to accommodate UK time zones and client demands.
  • Strong understanding of UK healthcare compliance, vetting, and placement procedures.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Access to a laptop and reliable high-speed internet is essential.
