The Market Development Representative is responsible for conducting research and generating qualified leads
for our Bulk Sales Department. The key objective of this position is to provide relevant information on
homeowner’s and condo associations, builders, developers and communities to our sales Directors to drive
sales efforts for large accounts.
This position is a critical member of the sales and marketing team and requires a self-starter with a can-do,
results-driven attitude.
What your responsibilities will be:
• Conduct research through various sources to uncover existing & new build/developer neighborhoods,
for large, master planned HOA’s (750+ units)
• Obtain board member and developer contact info using various online resources: email addresses,
phone numbers and addresses
• Obtain property information where directed to build and maintain CCMC’s growing database of target
properties
• Engage and qualify inbound sales leads through email or phone contact
• Maintain overall health of the CRM (HubSpot) database including uploading, refreshing, and scrubbing
data to ensure data integrity
• Conduct detailed market and competitive research to assist in identifying areas of sales opportunity
• Actively participate in the innovation of new techniques for securing new accounts and offer insights
about association board members, property managers, builders, and developer pain points
• Collect and analyze data on prospective customers, competitors, and marketing channels/sources
• Prepare reports that interpret consumer behavior, market conditions/opportunities, marketing results,
trends, distribution channels, and marketing outlets
• Deploy and analyze data on community opportunity through surveys and consumer outreach channels
• Maintain strong relationship with sales and marketing teams through clear communication and follow-
up
• Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge on all CCMC product and service offerings through
participation in product demonstrations and internal meetings
• Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor product offerings
• Achieve monthly and quarterly account qualification goals set by sales management
What you bring to the table:
• Three years of market development/research experience.
• Proven track record of achieving and beating quotas/targets.
• Excellent time management, goal setting, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong and effective communication skills both orally and written.
General Qualifications:
• Must be able to read, write and speak English, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, or
governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,
customers, and the public.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.), preferably in Business and/or a minimum of six years of related experience.
