Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Benefits Specialist (Remote in WI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer daily operations of pharmacy benefits
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and operations management to ensure accurate benefit administration
  • Monitor and analyze pharmacy benefit performance and communicate issues as needed
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Five years of experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of electronic claims processing
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required or must attain within 6 months of hire
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business administration
  • Preferred: One year experience in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or insurance industry
