Job Summary

A company is looking for a Title Examiner - US Based Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough searches and examine public records to assess the property's title status while adhering to regulatory standards
• Review documents affecting property titles and make insurability decisions based on title insurance guidelines
• Assemble Title Commitments for issuing Final Title Policies and collaborate with Underwriters and Escrow Teams

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the title insurance business as a title examiner
• Familiarity with Washington real estate law and title examination processes
• Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a Washington State Title Insurance license
• Proficient in region-specific title plant software and experienced in researching County Government websites
